The summit was the much anticipated and said to be the first Information Technology Conference and/or seminar for our young IT students here in Cebu. This said event was held at the Mandaue Sports Complex and the summit had a lot of speakers lined up which were successful IT professionals and of the like.

The heart of the summit was a set of panel discussions that focus on how IT is transforming academic disciplines, education, and our everyday lives. They also discussed the latest products or the now-generation gadgets and technologies that truly amazed us and that make us want to own one of those products even more. The event showcased different kinds of technologies, gadgets, robotics, all those new innovations and etc..

For me, one thing the IT Summit has intended to do is to build better connections with local business. With all these latest innovations, I'm sure businessmen, IT professionals, and me as a student are excited to experience and use them to a whole new level.

We have learned a lot from this event thanks to the sponsors and the organizers that made it possible and to the students as well that parcticipated.  For now, let us enjoy what we have and expect something new in the near future and see you at the summit 2014 if there is going to be one.
